Great cartoon - there are many different styles in leadership - some are more constructive than others

one timeless classic "Shore leave is hereby suspended until morale improves"
Distant Origin 3.23 Saurian Professor Gegen: It wasn't an invasion. We were on a field expedition to learn more about your species. We meant no harm. I'm a molecular paleontologist.

The version I've heard the most is 'The beatings will continue until morale improves,' but that's much the same thing.

Not really trek related, but anothing comic with entertaining (thought sometimes badly graphic) humour is http://terminallance.com. Written by a US marine, he still hits on a lot of topics that seem to be the same whether you're in the marines, the Canadian Army, or even a lowly cadet at RMC.

On the topic of cute cartoons, between these cute 'Meet the Team' cartoons for Team Fortress 2 and the hilarious writing in Portal 2, Valve is quickly establishing itself in my mind as the Secondprize of the gaming industry...and I mean that as high praise.

Meet the Medic (Absolute favorite)

as a whole, TF2 has a wonderful composite of characters and is well implemeted

As for Medic - liked the '...sound of progress...' and über range indicated on meters

Take Care!

Oooh...something new to take up what little free time I have!

And, after watching that, I was struck how eerily close the Medic is to my mental vision of Cube #238 miniseries Doctor (well, excepting the wee fact that the youtube video is human [and there are those pigeons], compared to the 8-limbed octo-medic of the BorgVerse).

And for a tangent away from the original topic title, but still vaguely in the right ballpark...check out:

Especially if you play Half-Life...

Oh, and start with Episode 0, not Episode 1.

I'm a big Half-Life fan, but I couldn't really get into these..the narrator makes Freeman sound like a real douch-bag...

that narrator of Freeman's script reminds me of several superiors [past & present] - I may not state an opinion given I need to work another 20 or so years

[edit] remembered a Voyager Quote -

Deadlock [2.21]
Kathryn Janeway: Mr. Kim, we're Starfleet officers. Weird is part of the job.

I have to agree with b-guy on "Freeman's Mind", a friend of mine tried to get me into them a while ago and I really didn't care for them.
