In the big picture, any time you are able to walk away from a surgery is good. Four surgeries so far [no wisdom teeth removal yet]. My first recovery experience was a bear, the remaining three were great in comparison.

Forum Members - My greatest empathy with dentist encounters - not all dentists are created equal or equipped with latest equipment. While a youngster, the family dentist drilled with a surplus GI belt driven drill - a slow turning drill bit on seemingly infinite articulated transfer points - the system was a bear for both dentist [to hold and control drill/bit] and patient [jaw and cranium vibrations]. The combination of belt system sound [bogging down/racing] with vibrations made myself eager to leave that dentist's office as quickly as possible.
