Doctor, mortician and veterinarian all rolled into one little blonde package. 

Jade (Jay) Warden is the stereotypical Californian beach angel, with one major difference. This barbie has a brain. She was assigned to the [[USS Devonshire]] when she offered a certain Admiral a block discount for treating his ninth case of "Itchy and Scratchy" fever in as many weeks. Said Admiral was then given control of the Devonshire project and as the ship needed a Doctor, Warden found herself drafted (dragged) into the post.

Needing perfect order and neatness around her sickbay, she takes great delight in punishing the male contingent of the ship, whilst bestowing real and genuine sympathy on her female counterparts and crewmates. She's even been known to stitch up an engineer rather than waste the energy of a protoplaser on his nearly amputated hand, whilst simultaneously using full regenerative therapy on Atherton's broken nail. Has for some time suspected that Lt. Commander Coombes has a soft (or hard) spot for her, but won't ever do anything to shine the big guy on.

Hates heights, pets, falling from heights, and other such dangerous activites. Once heard to declare that anyone who gained an injury or broke a limb parachuting deserved it, why leave a perfectly good atmospheric shuttle?
