Jebediah of Brown was the leader of the [[Brown Borg]] and the drone who had created the sub-collective back in the [[Great Factioning]] as a way to save the drones of his cube, who were descending into violence as the various factions split off from one another. They settled on a Class M world where they sought perfection through harmony with the land. They removed what implants they could and buried them in a dirt mound. They lived a simple existence until the [[USS Anomaly]] crashed near their home, [[Village One]]. Jebediah of Brown was welcoming to Captain [[Reginald Bain]] and offered food to the Anomaly crew. However, once the crew stole implants in order to harvest nanoprobes to repair the Anomaly and his Designated Dependent (basically daughter) [[Sarah of Brown]] had a sexual encounter with Commander [[Vioxx]], Jebediah ordered the Brown Borg assimilate the crew, so that they did not use the stolen technology. The Brown Borg were unable to achieve this goal though and were left to return to their lives as the repaired Anomaly launched and returned to space. (''[[Living Off The Land]]'' [BG])
