	The Lackinis were a race of aliens who resided in the [[Andromeda Galaxy]], and they literally existed to serve. They wrote a complete guidebook to Andromeda because their master told them to. A group of Lackinis worked in a shop on [[Gyjik's Galaxy Gateway]], and, when Bain interceded on their behalf when he thought the shopkeeper was mistreating them, they ended up declaring that Bain was their new master. Not wanting to have that responsibility, Bain made a run for it back to the [[USS Anomaly]] (Had himself beamed away, actually), and the Lackinis swore they would find their master. He had them take on the fleet, while the Anomaly continued on to a massive Associates space station where [[Cabral]] was being held. Since the Lackinis designed the Associates' ships in the first place, they knew all of the weaknesses and were able to make short work of them. They caught up to the Anomaly again at the space station and beamed aboard in time to save Bain and an away team from the Anomaly from being killed. They told Bain to flee, which he did...all the way back to the Milky Way galaxy. (''[[Disassociation]]'' [BG])		They found Bain just as the Anomaly was facing an [[Associates]] fleet.
