	Over night [[Waystation Village]] mysteriously picks up an additional cargo module. When Lieutenant [[Sean Russell]] goes to investigate, he encounters a group of powerful beings that manifest themselves as giant lips. In order to do this, Russell is to get them followers, and if he fails, they will trap him for eternity in his own personal hell. The lips set him loose, and the mystery module vanishes. Russell tries talking to the breakfast crowd in the [[Ic'hasssssst V'kelsnet Andorian Restaurant]] and gets beat up for his trouble. That evening in [[Victoria's]], Lieutenant [[Craig Porter]] suggests that Russell talk to [[Sesil]], who has already gotten enough followers for his [[Starshine Way]] to qualify for cult status. She detects the disturbance centering around Russell and, after speaking to Porter about what has transpired, follows Russell out of the pub. Taking Porter's advice, Russell goes to see Sesil and the Starshine Way. Sesil has Russell look into a glowing sphere. When he does so, Russell ends up in a mindscape resembling the forests near his childhood home. There he becomes the prize in a battle of wills between Sesil and the lips. Leximas appears and helps Russell fight off both forces. He is free, but the lips are not pleased. They determine that something must be done about Leximas, and they know just how to do it. Sesil is approached by the lips, who tell him that they are [[The Critics]]. Sesil will work for them now, and the Starshine Way will henceforth be known as the [[Starshine Kids]]. They also have to shave their heads. Sesil agrees, and an alliance is born.
