==Summary==
On board the [[S.S. River Running]] [[Leanne Braistway|Braistway]], Dr. [[Belle Scorpio|Scorpio]] and Flash [[GorDonTer]] are returning from Denobula when a strange nebula jumps out at them and transports them to an unknown town. Meanwhile, with the ship in orbit of [[Antidea]], [[Lucas Rascamontes|Rascamontes]] and [[Giuseppi Lombardo|Lombardo]] visit the planet itself to sample the nightlife. After a night of drunken debauchery Lombardo wakes up to find out that he has married [[Frida]], a local Antidean. While Lombardo begins his quest to seek a divorce, Braistway & Co come across a retirement home for elderly omnipotent beings, where they eventually make a deal with the senile inhabitants to help them escape the retirement home, in exchange for returning them to the Hansean. As they hatch their escape, Lombardo and Rascamontes have enlisted the help of Captain [[Klaus Reimann|Reimann]], who accompanies them to the [[Genesis Vents]], where life on Antidea began and the divorce ceremony must take place.
Having hijacked the retirement home's minivan Braistway stops at a roadside services, where one of the elderly omnipotent beings escapes to the casino. Eventually finding him the omnipotent retirees hold up their end of the bargain, returning Braistway & Co to their universe, emerging on Antidea at Lombardo's divorce ceremony.

==Author's Comments==
From a writing point of view this story was very easy to write, partly because it's fun to stick your characters in really absurd situations, and partly because when you're writing a series based in a universe as diverse and deep as Trek/Traks you have an infinte number of characters and events you can use. All you have to do is come up with a way of pulling all the characters together and the story bassically writes itself.
I particularly liked writing the Director/The Sisko bits, I just loved the idea of a Traks 'god' constantly insulting a Trek one. Plus I get to throw in a Traks cameo in the form of Ms. Meneks, this story proving she isn't human but in fact an omnipotent being visting this Earth for some strange reason none of us can fathom.

As to why the crewmen didn't change clothes before beaming down to do the divorce ceremony, They didn't have time as they'd just learnt of the disappeance of the raceabout and wanted to get the divorce over with as quickly as possible. That's the reason in the story anyway, really it's more for the comical effect.
As for your second question I can't give too much away, but the next story is a lot darker as the Hansean has to fight off a pirate attack...without the aid of the universal translator.
And now I'm wishing I'd come up with the title "My Big Fat Fish Divorce"
