Kasyov and Tovar took the Caspian to search for Cabral after he was taken by the Associates when the ship visited the Andromeda Galaxy. The Associates destroyed the Caspian after beaming out Tovar and Kasyov with the intention of studying them. (Yes, We Do Indeed Have Something To Declare! [BG])
