Polnuc

Polnuc was a Moglodin who served as an engineer on the USS Anomaly under Lieutenant Shelly Marsden. Lieutenant Polnuc had a stash of random bits of technology hidden in the Anomaly’s Jefferies tubes, which Lieutenant Commander Tovar found while trying to avoid his physical exam from Dr. Fred Nooney. (Let's Get Physical [BG]) Since Lieutenant Marsden was off the ship, Captain Reginald Bain had Polnuc entertain some visiting Romulan dignitaries. This ended with Polnuc getting very very drunk. Polnuc won a pie eating contest held by Steve! while the ship was travelling to the Andromeda Galaxy. (Do You Have Anything To Declare? [BG])

He was able to escape one of the exersaucers where he and other members of the Anomaly crew were held by the Nabusari, but he was captured again, this time by Commander Prosak, who did not want to escape. (Respect Your Elders [BG])

Polnuc was not happy that the ship's anti-singularity drive only worked because of Cabral. He had been collecting technology in the jefferies tubes as part of an effort to build a device capable of running the drive without the need for Cabral. When he activated it, though, the Anomaly instead tore through multiple dimensions. While trying to fix it, Polnuc was confronted by Marsden and Tovar, both of whom he trapped in a sticky webbing, before eventually being captured by Commander Prosak. He was sent to the brig, but the dimensional abilities of his device ended up being instrumental in saving the ship from the Lucinda entity. It is unknown if that helped get his punishment reduced.
