This was intended to be the third episode, after the ship had picked up a new first officer during what turned out to be the third episode [[That which hair dries]], but somewhere along the way a portion of the episode got changed, re-written and lost, then found, trampled by kids, eaten by [[Max]] and finally lost forever in whatever world Microsoft Office occupies. | |||

Synopsis
Assigned to investigate the fate of and if necessary to rescue the USS Banodyne and her crew, Stone and the Devonshire bite off a little more than they can chew as the first shuttle (Mondeo) of Season one looks likely to be lost. Oh well, they've got three more.
