Lieutenant Commander Craig Porter gets lucky! Wait. Before you get too excited, remember that bad luck is a kind of luck too.
Sometimes the simplest of requests can lead to the biggest problems. Today's requests involve a package and a dinner. The aftermath will fill the Infirmary and send ripple effects all the way to Earth.

Summary
After dealing with a small Borg situation, Captain Lisa Beck, Lieutenant Commander Craig Porter, and Lieutenant Commander Sean Russell head to The Gravity Well for a night of drinking and dancing.  Porter actually spends most of the evening grousing about his lack of luck with women while Russell hits on every female he can.  He starts up a conversation with a woman who introduces herself as Alice, but Alice seems to be more interested in the sciences, particularly information about the Bermuda Expanse, than in anything Russell has to say.  As soon as Russell lets slip that Porter knows about the Expanse, Alice ditches Russell and heads straight to Porter.  She invites Porter to dance and then back to her quarters.

The next morning Porter awakens to find Alice gone.  As he basks in the glow of a wonderful night with her, he reviews their conversation in his mind and quickly comes to the conclusion that he'd been used.  She pried enough information out of him and asked enough leading questions for him to realize that she plans to blow up the Bermuda Expanse, the effect of which could very well destroy Waystation.  He races to Ops and learns that Alice's ship has already left the station, so he chases after her in the Runabout USS Cumberland, beaming aboard her ship.  Confronted, Alice reveals that she does indeed plan to blow up the Bermuda Expanse because she is creeped out by the idea that there are a bunch of omnipotent body parts in there, namely The Directors and The Critics.  Alice manages to launch her explosive device before Porter beams them both back to the Cumberland, where he dissipates the device with the transporter while making Alice think that the Directors did it, so that she won't try this type of thing again.  He takes her back to the Waystation brig, where she rants and raves about "the eyeballs" while awaiting transport to Tantalus V.
