A crash landing leaves Commander Travis Dillon stranded on an uncharted world while the USS Secondprize heads off to Waystation to celebrate Christmas. Very quickly, Dillon realizes loneliness is the least of his problems.
Summary
On the way back to the USS Secondprize from a meeting of the Starfleet Regulations Advisory Board, Commander Travis Dillon's runabout is caught in a temporal explosion and vanishes.
