Lieutenant Sean Russell has been contacted by a higher power. Unfortunately, that power wants to take over Waystation and has enlisted Russell to help. Can Russell break free of their control? Or are he and the rest of Waystation doomed?
Summary
Over night Waystation Village mysteriously picks up an additional cargo module. When Lieutenant Sean Russell goes to investigate, he encounters a group of powerful beings that manifest themselves as giant lips. The lips tell Russell that they need his help to defend the galaxy against a powerful force. In order to do this, Russell is to get them followers, and if he fails, they will trap him for eternity in his own personal hell. The lips set him loose, and the mystery module vanishes. Russell tries talking to the breakfast crowd in the Ic'hasssssst V'kelsnet Andorian Restaurant and gets beat up for his trouble. That evening in Victoria's, Lieutenant Craig Porter suggests that Russell talk to Sesil, who has already gotten enough followers for his Starshine Way to qualify for cult status.
