Axis Class Starship

Small, fast and agile type of Federation starship introduced in the late 24th century. Axis Class ships not only served as scouts and couriers in Starfleet, but also as privately owned transports ("The Truth Is Out There" [BAN]). Fifteen of these small ships were constructed by the Orion Crime Syndicate and outfitted with extremely powerful alien technology.
