Jarrett Bain

Jarrett Bain was the son of Tovar and Shelly Marsden, who named him using a combination of names that were important to them: the Jaroch lifeforce that once inhabited Tovar and Marsden's grandfather Garrett. Before Jarrett went to his first assignment after graduating Starfleet Academy, Tovar and Marsden told him the story of how his grandfather, Captain Reginald Bain, lost the USS Anomaly. Following this, he went to join the USS Holloway commanded by Bain. Since Jarrett had a conn specialization, Bain had his grandson take the ship out of spacedock. (Going, Going, Gone... [BG])
