Strep had Tovar put in the brig, and, once the ship arrived at Earth, Strep attempted to retrieve the [[Kolch'ak Device]] from the [[Kantelov Annex]] on Earth to see if it could be used to control Romulans. It did indeed work on Romulans, but Tovar, [[Audrey Bain]], and a team from the [[USS Anomaly]] was able to stop the Vulcans and destroy the device before they were able to escape with it.
