Red Borg

The Red Borg was one of the Borg groups created after the Great Factioning. This Collectives decided that the route to perfection was to violently eliminate every species that wasn't Borg. A Red Borg sphere attempted to destroy the USS Anomaly when the Anomaly was sent to the Delta Quadrant to determine why Starfleet lost contact with LAP/TOP 64. The sphere smashed its way through a White Borg cube while trying to get to the Anomaly, and then Captain Reginald Bain was able to trick it into flying into a sun, where it was destroyed.
