Advill was a Nabusari pilot's license tester. When the USS Anomaly was taken into protective care by the Nabusari, Captain Reginald Bain had to pass a pilot's exam once he turned 70. He was briefly kidnapped by Clophil, so Lieutenant Shelly Marsden had to pretend to be Bain and take the exam instead. She passed. (Respect Your Elders [BG])
