Boolit

Boolit was the mate of Prefftle and mother of Kudool and Groop. The family of massive creatures lived on the planet in the Delta Quadrant where the Romulan command officers of the Tyvek crash landed in a shuttle after the Tyvek was attacked by the Lucinda entity. At first the Tyvek officers thought Boolit and her family were wild animals, but their universal translator kicked in, allowing the groups to communicate. Kudool offered the Romulans food and shelter in a cave above the clearing where the family lived. The Romulans accepted and went into the cave while the family debated which of the Romulans they were going to eat first. The next morning, Remax emerged from the cave, and they immediately ripped his arm off. Remax was able to escape back into the cave, and the Romulans refused to come back out. Prefftle was eventually able to grab Vioxx and drag him out, but before they could start eating the Romulan, Prefttle's head was disintegrated by phaser rifle blasts from the Starfleet officers that had just arrived to rescue the Romulans. Boolit was enraged and sent her children after Captain Reginald Bain, Commander Prosak, and Lieutenant Commander Tovar. Bain drew the children away, while Tovar and Prosak went after Boolit. She was able to destroy Tovar's phaser rifle, but then saw her children killed when Bain set his phaser rifle to overload and caught them in the resulting explosion. She went after Bain while Prosak and Tovar learned from Vioxx that the creatures were actually intelligent. Using the Romulans' translator, Bain tried to talk Boolit down, to no effect. Tovar ended up using Prosak's rifle to bring Boolit down with several heavy stun blasts. When she awoke some time later, the Starfleet and Romulan officers were gone, but a male of her species was looking down at her. She decided to go off and mate with him. (Bold Faced Lies [BG])
