Brialis Seven

Brialis Seven was a non-aligned world that the USS Anomaly visited to convince them to join the Federation rather than the Vulcan alliance. After the Brialan leader, Leton Duran decided to join the Vulcans, the Anomaly crew discovered that the planet was about to be eaten by a massive space amoeba. The Vulcans left after learning this, and Duran then asked Captain Reginald Bain to help. Dr. Natalia Kasyov developed a plan to shrink the approaching organism, but it required the Anomaly, several Brialan ships, and the Vulcan ships to work. Once it was successful, the Brialans decided to join the Vulcans anyway. (Diplomatic Immunity [BG])
