The fate of the universe is in Commander Travis Dillon's hands as a powerful entity comes looking for an item in Dillon's possession.
Summary
While surveying the desolate world of Injax, Commander Dillon finds a "cool rock" and takes it back to the USS Secondprize with him. Two weeks later, a seven-foot-tall, red rock creature materializes on the bridge demanding "The Power". Of course, no one has any idea what the thing is talking about. The creature descends into the ship, heading straight for Dillon's quarters with Captain Alexander Rydell and Dillon in pursuit. Discovering that the thing is after his rock, Dillon is about to hand it over when Jaroch arrives and tells Dillon not to give it to the creature because the resulting release of energy will destroy the ship. Dillon realizes that the creature will follow The Power anywhere and throws it into his toilet, where the ship's matter reclamation system quickly breaks down the rock into its component molecules just as it would feces or urine. The creature dives after the rock and suffers the same fate.
