Mike Waits

Security Officer on Waystation serving under Sean Russell. As an ensign, Waits responded to the shoplifting call at Dillon's Supply Depot. Since causality on the station was not functioning at the time, Waits was unable to find any evidence that a crime had occurred. (Waiting For The Other Shoe [WAY]) Waits was left in charge of station security while Russell was in the lockdown drill. During this time, he tried to stop the Federation Marines from taking control of Waystation, but both groups were taken out by Waystation's civilian population. Waits later led an effort to retake the station from the civilian militia only to find that Captain Lisa Beck had already effectively reassumed command after beating the civilian leader, Richard Theroll, to a pulp. (Town Hall [WAY]) Waits was a member of the station's Society for Creative Anachronisms group.
