Space Lodge
The name given by Commander Walter Morales to a mysterious structue in space found by Morales and Lieutenant Commander Craig Porter. Millenia old and built by beings-unkown, the Space Lodge is capable of changing its decor, adding rooms and facilities, and providing sustenance and entertainment based on its occupants' desires. When Morales and Porter first entered the structure, which was accessible through a large grey ring hovering in space near the Hauser Colony, the Space Lodge was occupied by a group of Induskerans that had been having a party there for the last 65 years. Morales and Porter were able to get the Induskerans to leave, and the Space Lodge was handed over to Starfleet Sciences, with Porter making several visits there for his own investigations. When Colonel Martin Lazlo decided that the Federation Marines could no longer remain on Waystation due to the detrimental effects fraternizing with the station's crew and residents was having on his troops' discipline, Lazlo was able to get the Federation to evict the Starfleet Sciences team from the Space Lodge and hand control of it over to the Federation Marines. Lazlo and his platoon took up residence in the Space Lodge. Soon after that, the Lodge vanished, taking the marines, including Lazlo and Stephanie Hodges with it. No trace of it or them has been found. (Going My Way? [WAY])
