Pratello Maddox

Pratello Maddox was the Captain of the USS Carpathia. He was formerly Chief of Operations on the USS Abu Simbel and Captain Reginald Bain’s first officer on the USS Maladventure. He is a Bewhal with orange scales. As is common for Bewhals, Maddox changed genders from male to female a few years before Bain took command of the USS Anomaly. Maddox is aware that Rosalyn Bain is in Section 31 and at her urging tried to convince Bain to send Commander Prosak to infiltrate the Vulcan Alliance. She was unsuccessful but gave Rosalyn the idea to have Lieutenant Commander Tovar convince Bain. (Breaking In Is Hard To Do [BG])

When the Anomaly was sent to the Delta Quadrant to deal with a situation involving the Flarn, Maddox investigated rumors that the Vulcans were slowing taking control of the Romulan empire. (God Complex [BG])
